Week1:
Screen Names and Passwords; Protecting Personal Info: Reviewing the screen name that was chosen for Ning at the beginning of the quarter
Cyber Predator activity: How do predators obtain your personal information? Use the activity about getting answers without asking question directly. Follow up with discussion of how easy or difficult it is to obtain information from others
Grooming process - Give students the grooming information handout
Watch the soccer video (Saved in MS/Tech/21stCentury... folder)
Give students assignment for Day 5 to respond on Ning message board to the following questions:
Screen name activity: provide a list of screen names and have the students break them into two lists (names that contain identifying info and those that do not)
Have them develop/revise their own screen names to make them safer
